PixBuilder Studio allows selecting several layers at once by holding down the Shift key while clicking on the desired layer names. A context menu is also available for managing the layers. It's easy to use, and offers many useful features that other apps don't have. This allows you to easily expand the capabilities of the program, though it can be annoying when Paint.NET offers so many additional options. The default version of the program only supports a few filters. However, it will not import layers from Photoshop PSD files.
